Hello!

I'm Isa, a 3D animator and 2D/3D hybrid filmmaker working out of Atlanta.

​

My passion for animation started with my love of watching cartoons on Boomerang, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Disney Channel, along with the Halloween tradition of watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and other animated holiday specials every year with my family.

I have a very broad knowledge of movies, from popular to indie, and studied live-action filmmaking and mass communication research before attending SCAD to learn storytelling and production for 3D Animation.

I spend a pretty good chunk of my day thinking, writing down, and doodling ideas for how a character's story impacts the way they move and express themselves, and a how shot can support them. I love watching the special features on DVDs to learn more about how storytelling and animation are influenced by their creators, and how different productions build their visual language.

​

I also love listening to music of all kinds - soundtracks, alternative, Broadway, EDM, choir, music from animated shows, and video-games - to inspire my own animated projects. I'd like to work on animated musicals with monsters, magic, and folklore in them.
